that applicants must be able to make their own way to the pickup points below at
any time of the day and night as and when required.

PICK UP POINTS – Diss/Dereham/Attleborough

You will be working within a physically and demanding environment, you will be working irregular hours, both on day and night shifts up to a maximum of 6 days a week.  Experience of working with poultry/livestock is preferred, but not essential.  You will work in a team environment and will be travelling in a van to various farms.

Your responsibilities include:

Administering vaccine/medication to poultry (chicken, turkey, and ducks)

Weighing/grading of poultry

Poultry moving/loading of live poultry ready for transportation

High bio-security measures to be adhered to at all times

Strictly following Health and Safety and Bird Welfare legislative standards and adhering to security and site safety rules whilst wearing correct PPE

Complying to all farm site standards and regulations

PICK UP POINTS – Diss/Dereham/Thetford/Attleborough/Great Yarmouth/Lowestoft/Gorleston/Watton

As a poultry catcher, you will be travelling to various farms, catching live poultry (chicken, turkey, and ducks), and loading, ready for transportation back to the processing site.  You will be working within a physically and demanding environment, you will be working irregular hours, both on day and night shifts up to a maximum of 6 days a week.  Experience of working with poultry/livestock is preferred, but not essential.  You will work in a team environment and will be travelling in a van to various farms.

Loading of live poultry ready for transportation
